How are trainers paid? You are a subcontractor. Clients pay you, and you pay a user fee to the facility.
How much does it pay? $62 an hour net after user fee is paid. This goes up depending on the number of clients you train.
What is the profile of the typical trainer? There is one common trait of the successful trainer: they enjoy working with people and derive satisfaction in helping them change their lives. Our trainers range in age from the early twenties to late sixties. Education level achieved ranges from high school diploma to master’s degree. Previous careers include those who have worked in technology, education, real estate, the corporate world, the medical field, the hospitality industry, among others.
What is involved in becoming a trainer and how long will it take to begin training clients? There is weekly instruction, observation, reading, training sessions, and practice. If you devote a few hours each week to learning after a few months you will be ready to take on paying clients. Go at your own pace. Our commitment to you - training to learn our system is free.
How long does it take to acquire a substantial clientele? It will take about eighteen months, depending on your level of commitment. Presently the demand for early morning workouts (6 to 8 AM) and after work workouts (5 to 7 PM) is close to exceeding our availability. Those who are best able to accommodate these preferred appointment times will grow at a faster rate.
How can I accelerate the process of acquiring a clientele? Each week we have inquiries for our personal training services. Older trainers already have established clienteles and less availability. Inquiries go to the newer trainers. Newer trainers can accelerate the process of acquiring a clientele by making the necessary commitment to learn and apply our system, showing individual initiative, and having ample availability.
